Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. A collision led to Nevşehir Juniors getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ozan Yağızer hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Nevşehir Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necip Çakman to maneuver through the defense. Nevşehir Juniors's Göksun Gülen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 12th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Moises Tafalla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Namık Kemal Özakay came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Namık Kemal Özakay, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Göksun Gülen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ümit Civan lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Göksun Gülen went to the wrong direction when Edmundo Espiga was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Nevşehir Juniors's Namık Kemal Özakay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. After 44 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Göksun Gülen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 51st minute of play. Honduras's Christian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Göksun Gülen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, Nevşehir Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Göksun Gülen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Cavit Balbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Nevşehir Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurkan Uçhan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Villa in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göksun Gülen saved Nevşehir Juniors from getting behind. In the 60th minute of the game Nurkan Uçhan made a throw-in which Ozan Yağızer played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksun Gülen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Göksun Gülen made a huge save. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nevşehir Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Honduras's Christian Sancho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Nevşehir Juniors's goalkeeper Göksun Gülen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksun Gülen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Namık Kemal Özakay might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Namık Kemal Özakay ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Nevşehir Juniors getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alphan Danış hit a great ball. Namık Kemal Özakay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Nevşehir Juniors's Necip Çakman. But to his dismay, Necip Çakman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Göksun Gülen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nevşehir Juniors getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Necip Çakman hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Göksun Gülen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nevşehir Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Göksun Gülen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
