When Ernso Constant fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haiti's protests and gave Ernso Constant a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernso Constant to maneuver through the defense. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Moreschi in the 27th minute of play. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Sciotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Bruno Rossetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Adriano Sciotto scored 0-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Bernardo Moreschi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fiume Veneto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haiti the free kick. After 65 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Moreschi. In the 69th minute Bruno Rossetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ernso Constant was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, Ernso Constant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Rossetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Adriano Sciotto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Fiume Veneto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Haiti throughout the match.
