Hamílton Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Teissen in the 21st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harald Teissen got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harald Teissen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Hamílton Loyola made a huge save. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Harald Teissen sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 64 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Falk Scheufens was substituted for Harald Teissen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Hamílton Loyola in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Christian Ivanschitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Falk Scheufens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 85th minute Falk Scheufens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falk Scheufens in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Falk Scheufens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
