Thanks to some nice moves Johannes Støle could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. Alvaro Cirelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kroton F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. In the 21st minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Donato in the 22nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Zlatin Serdarov with Cristiano Chitarroni as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Støle came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Cirelli. Alvaro Cirelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Colombia's Axel Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 47 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Cirelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Colombia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Kroton F.C.'s Alvaro Cirelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Concetto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kroton F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Concetto Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristiano Chitarroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Concetto Donato struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kroton F.C.. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Chitarroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Kroton F.C.'s Edgar Ieberink tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Chitarroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Alvaro Cirelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Colombia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kroton F.C.:s goal. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Kroton F.C.. Edgar Ieberink stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Manzanares. 3-2. Kroton F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
