Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Di Filippo's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Hermanö Oilers's Oskar Haeger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Hermanö Oilers from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Di Filippo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Matthew Garrido hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Dave Di Filippo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Di Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Di Filippo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Di Filippo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hermanö Oilers. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dave Di Filippo was the one to do the kick off. Horea Popârcea hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Dave Di Filippo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Matthew Garrido in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hermanö Oilers's Hjalmar Askelöf. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Filippo in the 67th minute of play. Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman was substituted for Dave Di Filippo. A collision led to Hermanö Oilers getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Bror Lilja hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Haeger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Ingemar Stålman scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 0-1. Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Valentin Dusett replaced Bror Lilja. Hermanö Oilers made a substitution. Luís Eduardo Loureiro replaced Hjalmar Askelöf. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hermanö Oilers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
