Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zantos IF's Urbain Richard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Teodoreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Zantos IF's Timmy Glad. But to his dismay, Timmy Glad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbain Richard went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Timmy Glad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Tasiss short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Per-Oskar Stor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Urbain Richard sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 33rd minute Urbain Richard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Urbain Richard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Zantos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Siggesson to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Urbain Richard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbain Richard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Hugo Ferrant charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Ferrant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Urbain Richard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-7 in the 74 minute of play. Per-Oskar Stor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Rubio went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Sigvard Uter took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Sergiu Teodoreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Zantos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Glad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Stor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Zantos IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
