Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martin Odén got the match started through his kick off. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Ekegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Ekegren in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juoksengi the free kick. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Odén. Martin Odén who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Martin Odén got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a Juoksengi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Matthias Ekegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Matthias Ekegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Ekegren in the 26th minute. After 28 played minutes Juoksengi got a freekick which was hit by Esbjörn Söder. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. In the 40th minute Matthias Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Ekegren in the 41st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Juoksengi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. Emil Ekegren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 53rd minute Matthias Ekegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Torsberg in the 55th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juoksengi's Roland Lindström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Juoksengi from getting a goal against them. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Matthias Ekegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Odén in the 70th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juoksengi the free kick. In the 76th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Martin Odén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Juoksengi's Matthias Ekegren tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Odén in the 87th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juoksengi fully deserved thier win.
