Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Blue Beast's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Eddy Huijgens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddy Huijgens was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddy Huijgens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Antonio Cempeners blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 15th minute, Antonio Cempeners got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Cempeners in the 17th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Antonio Cempeners recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Antonio Cempeners showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Antonio Cempeners stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Antonio Cempeners tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Cempeners in the 30th minute. After 31 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tjorven Caspers who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Antonio Cempeners drilling the ball in to score 3-1 behind Venezuela's goalkeeper. The supporters of Blue Beast booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tjorven Caspers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blue Beast:s goal. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Antonio Cempeners:s penalty. After having played for 45 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Andy Hendrickx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blue Beast fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Antonio Cempeners kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Niki Van Den Hout hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Blue Beast getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Andy Hendrickx hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eddy Huijgens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Antonio Cempeners managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Beast's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Cempeners was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blue Beast were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
