Peng Xu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when The White Star WK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The White Star WK's Peng Xu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, The White Star WK's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Peng Xu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by The White Star WK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner ended in Luca Rouco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The White Star WK's Peng Xu did a great save. Peng Xu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Eriberto Mantzio sent off a good shot on target. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Mantzio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to The White Star WK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eriberto Mantzio hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Zagrobelny in the 64th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The White Star WK's Peng Xu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save The White Star WK from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Mantzio in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Kryspin Dulemba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
