When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Eric Păvăloae took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Salvador Gisbert was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 88 minutes of play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eric Păvăloae 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ninjas in Pyjamas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
