Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Aurelian Zogreanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aron Neculce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aron Neculce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ninjas in Pyjamas's Aron Neculce did a great save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Neculce having to interfere. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Aron Neculce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horea Zâncă kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Horea Zâncă's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horea Zâncă helped the player get up and apologised. 25 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Aron Neculce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Aron Neculce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aron Neculce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Neculce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Aron Neculce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Surdilă. The Ninjas in Pyjamas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Zamorano in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Zogreanu in the 55th minute of play. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Neculce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelian Zogreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Aron Neculce managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ninjas in Pyjamas made a substitution. Sorin Tăgorean replaced Cornel Surdilă. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Florin Griguță hit a great ball. Horea Zâncă got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Aron Neculce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ecuador played a much better game than Ninjas in Pyjamas and deserved their victory. The Ninjas in Pyjamas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
