Lyubcho Karadachki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parvan Dakelov in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Manchester United F.C.'s Lyubcho Karadachki got control of the ball when Edward Mcdonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Manchester United F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Manchester United F.C.'s goalie and right to Edward Mcdonald. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Manchester United F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Iskren Mihnev got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 12 played minutes Manchester United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Emesto. 14 minutes into the match, Parvan Dakelov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Parvan Dakelov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parvan Dakelov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute Parvan Dakelov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Lyubcho Karadachki managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when USA's Cassius Byrne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyubcho Karadachki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, USA's Edward Mcdonald got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Exequiel Zeballos came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassius Byrnes short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Lyubcho Karadachki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Exequiel Zeballos in the 37th minute of play. Parvan Dakelov took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Exequiel Zeballos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. 53 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Manchester United F.C.'s Lyubcho Karadachki. Lyubcho Karadachki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 55 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Lyubcho Karadachki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parvan Dakelov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Exequiel Zeballos. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iordache Luca was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester United F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 78 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Lyubcho Karadachki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Exequiel Zeballos in the 80th minute. Parvan Dakelov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Parvan Dakelov in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parvan Dakelov in the 89th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Exequiel Zeballos in the 89th minute. The USA manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Manchester United F.C. to win.
