Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. When Burkhard Böck came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Ahmet Enes Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burkhard Böck couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Ahmet Enes Spor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teodoro Gonsalves short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Ahmet Enes Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ahmet Koralp Özsevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute. In the 37th minute of the match, Teodoro Gonsalve got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alkis Theodorou hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ahmet Enes Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağlar Özer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burkhard Böck in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sebati Arıtan who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ahmet Koralp Özsevi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
