Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turan Uluçam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Turan Uluçam saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lütfi Özil in the 11th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes in the game, Alberto Tafalla fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Turan Uluçam having to interfere. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Turan Uluçam. COLDPLAY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in COLDPLAY's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Turan Uluçam came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turan Uluçam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codruț Domuță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Turan Uluçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After 51 minutes of play, COLDPLAY's Codruț Domuță made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Turan Uluçam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 54th minute of the match. Codruț Domuțăs short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Dante Lacasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lütfi Özil kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 78th minute of play forced COLDPLAY's goalkeeper Turan Uluçam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Mexico got a corner. COLDPLAY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 83rd minute of play forced COLDPLAY's goalkeeper Turan Uluçam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COLDPLAY:s Turan Uluçam showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. With an all-out effort, COLDPLAY's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Codruț Domuță, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 97th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. COLDPLAY's Enginalp Hilal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 99th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dante Lacasa but with some difficulty.
