Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilie Teodor in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16thth minute of the game Horaţiu Babarada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Babarada came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Du Ning Zhi got control of the ball when Abram Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du Ning Zhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Teodor in the 28th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Ilie Teodor made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Teodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Herlea came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Babarada in the 37th minute of the match. Du Ning Zhi was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-1. Abram Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Du Ning Zhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Ilie Teodor put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Herlea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pascual Carballar hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ilie Teodor sent off a good shot on target. Du Ning Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Du Ning Zhi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Severino Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santino Seco struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Du Ning Zhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Ilie Teodor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Ilie Teodor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Joshua Garrido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Garrido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Ning Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Du Ning Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SuperSteauaBazatii★DAC★'s Nichifor Stratulat got a free kick in the 96th minute.
