An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Francesco Marines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes in the game, Tomas Illescas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Sonny Perkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Sonny Perkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Perkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 16th minute Quetzal Flyers Hammers were awarded a corner. Moncho Almonte went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Mark Noble to a score. 2-0 in the 16th minute. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Tony Cote reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. Francesco Marines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Alex Chicote in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Mark Noble. 30 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francesco Marines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Sonny Perkins notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Alexander Biörnberg was substituted for Antoni Majusiak. Quetzal Flyers Hammers made a substitution. Frank Lampard replaced Melker Bergdal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sonny Perkins made a kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Sonny Perkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Francesco Marines came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Perkins in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Mark Noble hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonny Perkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Quetzal Flyers Hammers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
