The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Arrebimba o Malho SLB getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Man Fish tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 9th minute of play forced Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goalkeeper Man Fish to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Leonardo Leoz got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Maxim Tilea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Angelo Quintela sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Man Fish saved Arrebimba o Malho SLB from getting behind. After 30 minutes Arrebimba o Malho SLB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Man Fish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. Daniel Palmquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Tilea in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxim Tilea was the one to do the kick off. Maxim Tilea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Hao Fan Yong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Man Fish in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Man Fish didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Man Fish. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goalkeeper Man Fish, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hao Fan Yong in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match Arrebimba o Malho SLB got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelo Quintela ran over to the corner to take the kick. Angelo Quintela made a great header on Arrebimba o Malho SLB's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. The attack was good, but when Maxim Tilea in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Arrebimba o Malho SLB booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Mai Shu Yang made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tilea in the 88th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arrebimba o Malho SLB had won after a very even match.
