In the 15th minute of the match, Poncio Zalaeta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joel Gaona succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Birra Bizarra's Lohitzun Reigosa hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! The throw-in from Leonardo Leoz in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Birra Bizarra's Tano Guais. When Poncio Zalaeta came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Birra Bizarra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Poncio Zalaeta couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play forced Birra Bizarra's goalkeeper Lohitzun Reigosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poncio Zalaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Birra Bizarra's Beltza Feyjo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lohitzun Reigosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Birra Bizarra booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lohitzun Reigosa was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Lohitzun Reigosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Poncio Zalaeta made a kick off. Lohitzun Reigosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Birra Bizarra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Birra Bizarra's Lohitzun Reigosa managed to reach the ball for a save. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Lohitzun Reigosa threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a left leg Lohitzun Reigosa saved Birra Bizarra from getting behind. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lohitzun Reigosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Birra Bizarra's Tano Guais got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gaur Prada hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lohitzun Reigosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Luca Rouco to score against Lohitzun Reigosa in Birra Bizarra's goal. 0-3 after 79 minutes. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lohitzun Reigosa having to make a save. Lohitzun Reigosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tano Guais fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
