After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 龚晨瑜 quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚晨瑜 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 龚晨瑜 came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 16 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚晨瑜 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind 【AC】Black Dragon-名剑's goalkeeper 龚晨瑜, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in 【AC】Black Dragon-名剑's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 龚晨瑜 came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 杜兴震 in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 龚晨瑜 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 龚晨瑜 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute, Kyle Moyse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 吕铮军 charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 吕铮军 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 巩永升 kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 龚晨瑜 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. When 吕铮军 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. A collision led to 【AC】Black Dragon-名剑 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. 吕铮军 hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 龚晨瑜. 【AC】Black Dragon-名剑's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 杜兴震 in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, 刘霖城 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
