Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Neața prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mexico booed when BilascuBM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silviu Paraschiv didn't get a good kick on the ball. BilascuBM's Dumitru Neața proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save BilascuBM from getting a goal against them. After 66 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Gaona got free with Dumitru Neața in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Leoz got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Luca Rouco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumitru Neața read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
