Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Fagerberg started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Per Stenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Per Stenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rönnöfors FF's Hubert Fagrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Fagrell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Indiano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. Per Stenberg took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rönnöfors FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Gerardo Pozo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Rönnöfors FF. 2-2. Guillermo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Per Stenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per Stenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Wiktor Dahlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Stenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Torsten Åman hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Per Stenberg came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Pozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubert Fagrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Pozo ran back to his position shaking his head. 83 minutes into the game, Rönnöfors FF's Per Stenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The Rönnöfors FF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
