In the 13th minute, Alvaro Pérez García ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 16th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of 安柯 Sar. FC WAWER's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Owen Vera, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 安柯 Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Owen Vera made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Owen Vera in the 52nd minute of play. FC WAWER's 安柯 Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save FC WAWER from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Owen Vera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC WAWER's Eduard Boșneag was substituted for Wellington Recife. FC WAWER made a substitution. He Qi Mo replaced Alvaro Pérez García. Camilo Gisbert made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC WAWER's Mikolaj Majtyka. 69 minutes into the game, He Qi Mo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which 安柯 Sar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute, He Qi Mo made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 81 minutes into the match, FC WAWER's goalkeeper 安柯 Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 82nd match minute, FC WAWER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Majdoch to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Qi Mo in the 84th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC WAWER fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when FC WAWER's Tytus Majdoch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 96th minute, He Qi Mo made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. The FC WAWER players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
