Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The audience thought a goal was coming when Pearse McWilliam got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Pearse McWilliam elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hewney Kirby in the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Pearse McWilliam tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhart Costello in the 24th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jorge Magrina hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Fernandino during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, St. James Gate F.C.'s Barhart Costello ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pearse McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Barhart Costello scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burke Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Brigid Rutherford made a huge save. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hewney Kirby in the 67th minute of play. Brigid Rutherford made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Abram Luque sent off a good shot on target. Hewney Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barhart Costello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brigid Rutherford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhart Costello in the 86th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barhart Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
