Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Olof Örtendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Hermansson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Olof Lingren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Ocean´s Eleven:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Venezuela:s goal. Sven-Olof Örtendal had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Boris Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sven-Olof Örtendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dennis Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Boris Elg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Boris Elg took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sven-Olof Örtendal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Jose Correa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Correa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Örtendal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Ocean´s Eleven made a substitution. Leon Black replaced Boris Elg. In the 64th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Ocean´s Eleven's Sigvard Algren in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Leon Black sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 78th minute. Dennis Hermansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Dennis Hermansson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Ocean´s Eleven players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Dennis Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ocean´s Eleven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Hermansson couldn't finish the play. Leon Black fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 93rd minute of play forced Ocean´s Eleven's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Örtendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Olof Örtendal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Ocean´s Eleven's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
