The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Aron Bleoancă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Aron Bleoancă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of the match. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Bleoancă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Cristi Rogozea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Bleoancă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 88th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Bleoancă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. sɴᴏᴏᴋᴇʀ ᴄʟᴜʙ sɪɴᴀɪᴀ 2017's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alexandru Porumbescu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cristi Rogozea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, sɴᴏᴏᴋᴇʀ ᴄʟᴜʙ sɪɴᴀɪᴀ 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Aron Bleoancă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
