Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. The ball had pretty good speed, but Turan Uluçam firmly grabbed it by the left post. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by COLDPLAY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Salvador Gisbert managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cristi Şuţu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuna İrfan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Domuță in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enginalp Hilal who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on COLDPLAY's corner Lütfi Özil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camilo Gaos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of COLDPLAY booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enginalp Hilal in the 40th minute of play. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Baycan Özgurel with Abdurrahim Tunçkan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of COLDPLAY booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul replaced Lütfi Özil. In the 77th minute Codruț Domuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codruț Domuță in the 77th minute. Ahmet Demir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 81 minutes in the game Tuna İrfan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Abdurrahim Tunçkan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tuna İrfan during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. COLDPLAY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
