In the 18th minute Vitinho de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho de Barros in the 19th minute of play. 28 minutes in the game Jorge Sainz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Francisco Seco. In the 29thth minute of the game Maximiliano Escribano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AA Bełchatów's Leonard Rosen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
