Tuna İrfan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, one of COLDPLAY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The wind increased when Codruț Domuță made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes COLDPLAY got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Domuță. With an all-out effort, COLDPLAY's Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Codruț Domuță, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 83 played minutes COLDPLAY got a freekick which was hit by Henk Boegaerts. Ahmet Demir took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A hard shot 92 in the game by Codruț Domuță from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Codruț Domuță sent off a good shot on target. The COLDPLAY supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing COLDPLAY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
