Ernesto Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 33rd minute, Santino Seco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernesto Senin. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 36thth minute of the game Abram Sarmiento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's Ernesto Senin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009's goalkeeper Ernesto Senin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Colombia's attentive Antonio Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Romulo Gaueko made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Romulo Gaueko hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Manuel Pelegrina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 74th minute of play. The corner led Colombia's Luis Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Senin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kevin Mastache scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Senin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of 【E ➣15 de Julio 2009 booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Vitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
