Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Oakham's Jerry Soon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Hui having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Soon in the 5th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jerry Soon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oakham's Bryan Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Mark Koh sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asiz Rajah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Bryan Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 29th minute of the match. Bryan Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Hui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bryan Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Soon in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Bryan Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Felix Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Oakham players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerry Soon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-2 in the 48 minute of play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Soon in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Jerry Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bryan Hui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Soon in the 64th minute of the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Koh's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Soon came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Ecuador's Antonio Arias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Antonio Arias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Antonio Arias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Oakham's Gara Hock was substituted for Mark Koh. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oakham:s goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakham's Asiz Rajah. But to his dismay, Asiz Rajah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Singh in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Asiz Rajah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gara Hock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Felix Montenegro scored 2-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bryan Hui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Bryan Hui made a huge save. Bryan Hui made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gara Hock in the 97th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Asiz Rajah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oakham's supporters rose to their feet, but Asiz Rajah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
