Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Delmiro Ferrer took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Marcial Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Marcial Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barbudos FC's Delmiro Ferrer got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Delmiro Ferrer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 11 minutes into the game, Barbudos FC's Delmiro Ferrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 13thth minute of the game Delmiro Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Delmiro Ferrer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmiro Ferrer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes, Alberto Gisbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Barbudos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Camilo Franco fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Camilo Franco a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Carvallo made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Barbudos FC's Virgil Van Dijk. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Delmiro Ferrer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Ferrer. Delmiro Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari was substituted for Delmiro Ferrer. Barbudos FC's Giannis Antetokounmpo was substituted for Gareth Bala. In the 68th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Beccari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Franco Beccari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Beccari in the 78th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Garci. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 88th minute of play forced Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Omar Abadia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barbudos FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Uruguay's much stronger midfield.
