Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Eduard Semeghin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Aron Zgrăbunţa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduard Semeghin. The attack was good, but when Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosendo Seguinus quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Zgrăbunţa in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Aron Zgrăbunţa tried to sneak it across the goal line. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Rosendo Seguinus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Rosendo Seguinus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Vermeşan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

54 minutes into the game, Eric Ţirpescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. 53 minutes into the game, one of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Vermeşan in the 57th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Rosendo Seguinus threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Sancho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus did a great save. In the 62nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 69th minute of play. Rosendo Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 70th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Ernest Petru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Ernest Petru got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. In the 80th minute, Ernest Petru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Eduard Semeghin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Seguinus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ASF BAIA MARE -MM- throughout the match.
