Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delmiro Ferrer started the match with the kick off. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Ferrer went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Barbudos FC's Marcial Claris got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Delmiro Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbudos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Moruga made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Noboa. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barbudos FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barbudos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, Barbudos FC's Marcial Claris made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delmiro Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Ferrer scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute, Delmiro Ferrer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Delmiro Ferrer notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute Delmiro Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Delmiro Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barbudos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Ferrer in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Barbudos FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gareth Bala in the 53rd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Ferrer in the 56th minute of the match. Axel Tasis's late challenge caught a Barbudos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Tasis helped the player get up and apologised. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Delmiro Ferrer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbudos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Franco Beccari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Franco Beccari made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. When Barbudos FC's Franco Beccari in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute, Franco Beccari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Beccari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Franco Beccari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Barbudos FC's Teofilo Ermano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franco Beccari showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 85 minute of play. Rigoberto Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barbudos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
