Carmelo Sifon took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Cristian Jimenez took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. After 54 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Iker Tafalla. In the 57th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes of play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Nicolás Guerrero made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmelo Sifon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Carmelo Sifon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Carmelo Sifon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alan Campos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. After 95 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. Real Madrid de Guatemala were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Paraguay's much stronger midfield.
