Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zlatko Ibrahimović took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Zlatko Ibrahimović kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Zlatko Ibrahimović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 10th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fragleses's Wiktor Gomolka quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Camilo Gisbert, made in the 12th minute of the game. Zlatko Ibrahimović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Ibrahimović came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kim Hänninen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 21 minutes into the match, Fragleses's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Kim Hänninen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. Kim Hänninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Fragleses's attentive Edward Mentus managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Zlatko Ibrahimović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zlatko Ibrahimović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Zlatko Ibrahimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kim Hänninen having to make a save. Fragleses's attentive Edward Mentus managed to snatch the ball when Camilo Gisbert made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute Zlatko Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fragleses's Kim Hänninen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Fragleses from getting a goal against them. Fragleses made a substitution. Waldemar Wojtowicz replaced Olaf Wojtowicz. Edward Mentus hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Kim Hänninen made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 87 minutes Fragleses's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kim Hänninen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kim Hänninen made a huge save. Grzegorz Rasiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
