Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lima in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A very nice done corner allowed 尤广亮 to score against Julio Vera in Ecuador's goal. 2-0 after 22 minutes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Jorge Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. ≮王者归来≯传说中的菜鸟's 王寒挺 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save ≮王者归来≯传说中的菜鸟 from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 王寒挺, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Lima in the 84th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
