In the 4th minute Belcho Hlebarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Ivelin Ananiev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla did a great save. 7 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belcho Hlebarov. Anzhelo Gerushin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Anzhelo Gerushin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 16th minute of the match. Anzhelo Gerushin came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Abraham Alguacil. But to his dismay, Abraham Alguacil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belcho Hlebarov. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, ЦСКА's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Anzhelo Gerushin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Stoimen Dipchikov put in a rough tackle. In the 42nd match minute, ЦСКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stoimen Dipchikov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ЦСКА booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, ЦСКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Belberov to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anzhelo Gerushin came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 56th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Jose Carita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ЦСКА the free kick. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belcho Hlebarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Anzhelo Gerushin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Toncho Súrbinski got a free kick in the 84th minute. Anzhelo Gerushin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 88th minute of the match. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Anzhelo Gerushin made a huge save. In the 93rd minute Belcho Hlebarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ЦСКА fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
