After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Aleksander Kissel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Radowit Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FA Sandtown's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 41st minute, FA Sandtown's Edward Kasiewski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edward Kasiewski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FA Sandtown protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edward Kasiewski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 40 minutes into the game, one of FA Sandtown:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FA Sandtown:s Radowit Trzaskoma showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. 42 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Radowit Trzaskoma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Trzaskoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aleksander Kissel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witomir Domamir to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Radowit Trzaskoma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 64 minutes, Aleksander Kissel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FA Sandtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksander Kissel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radowit Trzaskoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Benoit Van Bettenrode tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Benoit Van Bettenrode got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benoit Van Bettenrode's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Benoit Van Bettenrode had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benoit Van Bettenrode was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. FA Sandtown were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
