Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Anastasio Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. DCC 15's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Buinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Haroldo Orlan fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DCC 15's protests and gave Haroldo Orlan a yellow card for diving instead. The goalkeeper, Erubiel Pepillo, was totally fooled by El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With his leg Erubiel Pepillo managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guido Guillem took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of El Salvador booed when DCC 15 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mateo Leguizamo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Leguizamo couldn't finish the play. Guido Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. DCC 15's Erubiel Pepillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save DCC 15 from getting a goal against them. El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Guillem to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Guido Guillem dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 2-2. In the 59th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erubiel Pepillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Pepillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. Guido Guillem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. DCC 15's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
