Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Richarlison de Andrade started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Richarlison de Andrade could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced Henley Utd's goalkeeper Edvin Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Henley Utd were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hannes Kjellqvist took the corner. Edvin Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. When Cristian Sancho, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Edvin Jonsson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Henley Utd's Edvin Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Henley Utd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Jonsson having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Jonsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Rasmus Mårtensson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Richarlison de Andrade came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
