Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nafiz Revis got the match started through his kick off. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Güvenç Taşan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. In the last second Thiago Pliego throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nafiz Revis in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 10th minute of the match Hatayspor got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baskın Türker ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sermet Baydar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. After some careless play in the Hatayspor defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güvenç Taşan. The Hatayspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güvenç Taşan should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Güvenç Taşan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Nafiz Revis sent off a good shot on target. After 24th play minutes Nafiz Revis shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Thiago Pliego and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 33rd minute Nafiz Revis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güvenç Taşan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Nafiz Revis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 44 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Nafiz Revis came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Güvenç Taşan made a huge save. Güvenç Taşan made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nafiz Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alp Torehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alp Torehan in the 60th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Güvenç Taşan. Güvenç Taşan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Nafiz Revis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hatayspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Nafiz Revis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Güvenç Taşan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Güvenç Taşan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hatayspor booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Güvenç Taşan made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Fontirroig got free with Güvenç Taşan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute of the match, Xavier Figueroa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Güvenç Taşan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dario Guillem hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nafiz Revis, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Hatayspor's Güvenç Taşan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute of play.
