Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ignaz Pisula made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Kovács in the 14th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibaut Zengers in the 18th minute of play. KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save KF Trepça from getting a goal against them. KF Trepça's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Ignaz Pisula, making the score, 2-0. KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by László Kovács in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KF Trepça getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Steen Bonhoeffer hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, KF Trepça's goalkeeper Ignaz Pisula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 36th minute Thibaut Zengers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from László Kovács in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when László Kovács came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ignaz Pisula in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Márcio Leitão notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thibaut Zengers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, KF Trepça's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ignaz Pisula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignaz Pisula having to interfere. In the 64thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Márcio Leitão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignaz Pisula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ignaz Pisula having to make a save. KF Trepça's Ignaz Pisula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KF Trepça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steen Bonhoeffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignaz Pisula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. In the 86th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th match minute, KF Trepça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Catapano to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Thibaut Zengers made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 95 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KF Trepça the free kick. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
