Opus Dei's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hugon Raszkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The throw-in from Felix Montenegro in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Opus Dei's Artur Dziedziak. After 13 played minutes Denis Degutis rounded Ecuador's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Hugon Raszkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugon Raszkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Jörgen Sander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Opus Dei were awarded a corner. Walery Topolski went to the cornerflag to take it. Hugon Raszkiewicz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Hugon Raszkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Degutis in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Walery Topolski was slow to take the kick. During this time Opus Dei's players had a chance to rest. 马林青 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 马林青 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Degutis was the one to do the kick off. If Denis Degutis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 马林青, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, 马林青 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Jörgen Sander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Opus Dei's Urmas Viru got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Denis Degutis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Jörgen Sander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Opus Dei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urmas Viru to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Hugon Raszkiewicz made a huge save. Opus Dei succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
