Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gunnar Pååk kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tudor Angheloiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Edsbyn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 9thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edsbyn's Tudor Angheloiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Sancho got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tudor Angheloiu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tudor Angheloiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The attack was good, but when Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Edsbyn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Tudor Angheloiu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Edsbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Billock to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tudor Angheloiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera was a little too slow when Agne Billock got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Edsbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tudor Angheloiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Pååk kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Edsbyn's Tudor Angheloiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Edsbyn from getting a goal against them. Tudor Angheloiu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 67 minutes into the match, Edsbyn's goalkeeper Tudor Angheloiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Tudor Angheloiu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agne Billock in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Billock, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Edsbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feo Larramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Billock couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Angheloiu having to interfere. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Tudor Angheloiu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
