Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilko Timov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Marian Todorov got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lilko Timov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostislav Sitarski in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Lilko Timov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lilko Timov saved VN SOKOLI-VARNA from getting behind. Lilko Timov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of the match. Lilko Timov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes VN SOKOLI-VARNA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Lilko Timov did a great save. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Lilko Timov got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Qiao Qing Ying took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 60th minute, Eloi Ocomardia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Celil Zabit hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qiao Qing Ying in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lilko Timov having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lilko Timov firmly grabbed it by the left post. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Qiao Qing Ying shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiao Qing Ying in the 82nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Afşar Şahan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
