Jeronimo Liebana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Liebana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Liebana saved Soproni Kullancsok from getting behind. Emánuel Fábián kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Liebana having to interfere. In the 35th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Liebana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miklós Kállai got free with Dante Lacasa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Soproni Kullancsok's Ingvar Lindkvist in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Soproni Kullancsok booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeronimo Liebana firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 75th minute Ingvar Lindkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Soproni Kullancsok fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jeronimo Liebana. After 79 played minutes Soproni Kullancsok got a freekick which was hit by Gyula Gácsi. After 83 minutes Soproni Kullancsok's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jeronimo Liebana could save by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jeronimo Liebana made a huge save. Soproni Kullancsok's Jeronimo Liebana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Soproni Kullancsok from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Mexico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Soproni Kullancsok from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
