The CARDANO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanoy Krústenov in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. Slavyan Dudumov got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rosen Michkov. With a little luck, CARDANO's Stancho Zvezdanov got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanoy Krústenov to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosen Michkov. After 71 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. If Venelin Izvorski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CARDANO getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rosen Michkov hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as CARDANO's Rosen Michkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 0-2 after 87 minutes of play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venelin Izvorski in the 90th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by CARDANO's Venelin Izvorski. But to his dismay, Venelin Izvorski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Honduras manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing CARDANO to win.
