Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffel Portmans saved SK Dreigoten from getting behind. Christoffel Portmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Wirinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffel Portmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Wirinckx made a kick off. With a little luck, SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, SK Dreigoten's Michael Wirinckx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some careless play in the SK Dreigoten defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christoffel Portmans. The SK Dreigoten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christoffel Portmans should have stopped the shot. When SK Dreigoten's Michael Wirinckx in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Van der Borght came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
