Silvio Gumaro hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Nereo Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolando Odon in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes EL REY DE LA CARNE got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Gumaro. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Gomesano in the 32nd minute. After 41 played minutes EL REY DE LA CARNE got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Gumaro. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Txanton in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute EL REY DE LA CARNE were awarded a corner. Salvador Eusko went to the cornerflag to take it. After 67 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the EL REY DE LA CARNE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. In the 76th minute Justino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Bastia in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Santana was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. When Justino Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the EL REY DE LA CARNE fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in EL REY DE LA CARNE's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Santana came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Bastia in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to EL REY DE LA CARNE getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Silvio Gumaro hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Adrian Txanton put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant.
