But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Hibai couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Hibai in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Joel Hibai pulled a muscle in his leg after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Gerardo Pozo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Gerardo Pozo a yellow card for diving instead. Lunatics of Arianrhod made a substitution. Ernesto Benedetti replaced Joel Hibai. Elia Di Sipio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mariano Lacasa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chile were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. The corner ended in Pedro Indiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro did a great save. After 31 minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Fontirroig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo Tammaro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 36th minute Johan Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Benedetti in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Cristoforo Tammaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Francesco Romino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristoforo Tammaro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Romino in the 69th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Francesco Romino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Romino in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Lunatics of Arianrhod:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chile:s goal. 80 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Benedetti came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Martini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Francesco Romino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristoforo Tammaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felice Cirigliano hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 91st minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Mariano Lacasa made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro managed to reach the ball for a save.
